Inspired by the ancient Japanese kanzashi hair pieces. This accessory was designed for my first final project in jewelry school and it definitely holds a special place in my heart. The twisted shape resembles a bonsai tree, and the pointy shape is to honor the fact that the kanzashi could actually be used as a self defense weapon in its era (although we highly discourage that now, of course).

Made in brass, gold or silver plated.
